Existing Insight On-Premise Customers
Automatically migrate Faronics Insight On-Premise v11.24 or higher to Cloud licensing.
After the Teacher Console has been migrated, Insight Students will automatically migrate as well, based on the configured settings.
To do this, select Migrate Insight On-premise Automatically To Subscription Licensing To Manage From Cloud, then select to migrate Students when Student Device Joins The Teacher Console, or when Student Device Is Discovered By The Teacher Console.
 | When selecting to migrate Students when Student Device Is Discovered By The Teacher Console, note that this action is irreversible. Once migrated to Insight Cloud, you will not be able to revert back to Insight On-Premise. To revert to Insight On-Premise, you will need to uninstall Insight Cloud version and reinstall Insight On-Premise. |
After selecting the migration method, select the Student Policy to apply during the process.
Note that Class ID settings in the selected Policy will be ignored during the migration. This ensures existing Insight Students will continue reporting to their current Teacher Consoles.
